About Christ's Apostolic Catholic Church

In the company of many other reformed and independent Catholic Churches throughout the ages, Christ's Apostolic Catholic Church (CACC) is an independent and autonomous church with membership throughout the world. As with other independent Catholic Churches, Christ's Apostolic Catholic Church does not fall under the jurisdiction of Rome and is, therefore, not subject to the rules and regulations that are established by the Roman Catholic Church. We are a little-known and smaller branch of the Catholic Church. We do, however, profess the same universal beliefs as expressed in the Nicene and Apostle's Creeds, and enjoy valid Sacraments and Apostolic Succession. We are governed by our own Code of Canon Law. We are a unique and independent presence of the Catholic Church.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We profess our belief using the words of the Nicene and Apostle's Creeds. We believe in one's individual relationship with God and the communal expression of that relationship. As our name implies, we are Apostolic, meaning that we trace our lineage back to the Apostles through Apostolic Succession, and the teaching and example of the Early Church and the first seven ecumenical councils.
Whether clergy or consecrated religious or lay, the members of Christ's Apostolic Catholic Church are Catholics living the faith everyday in the world, bringing Christ's Church to the people. All members are encouraged to full participation in the life of the Church. We emphasize fellowship and service to each other within the church as well as to the greater community.
Christ's Apostolic Catholic Church is Christ-centered, welcoming, and all inclusive. We believe that God is passionately in love with ALL God's children! No one who seeks God is turned away. We see no outcasts; in our church ALL are truly welcome. We are not concerned with who you were, but who you are and will be. We welcome LGBT+ persons, the divorced and remarried, and those who have not felt welcomed by other churches. In the spirit of the undivided Church, we welcome those who celebrate the Eucharist in other Rites as well. We have Orthodox and Tridentine parishes, as well as those who celebrate the modern Catholic Mass.
The CACC is guided by the Holy Spirit through the Synod of Bishops, in accord with our own Canon Law. While we recognize the hierarchy of the Roman Church and the Bishop of Rome in particular, we reject papal infallibility. Our Bishops, priests, and deacons may be male or female, celibate or married, regardless of sexual preference, and may be trained at our own seminary.
Our Church is sacramental; we celebrate the seven Sacraments of our Catholic faith, namely Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Matrimony, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick. Our primary form of worship is the Catholic Mass. In fact, if your background is Roman Catholic, you will not notice much difference if you attend one of our parish Masses! As Jesus welcomed all who came to Him, we practice an open Eucharist; no baptized Christian who believes in the True Presence of Christ in the Eucharist is excluded from our table.
We invite you to contact us for more information, or join us at one of our parishes!
